I suppose I must jump in and say something about the nature of this blog, just for the clarification of the 3 or so people who read it. I have done a 365 for several years now. This year, I changed it up by doing #projectlife365 using phone photos. The idea was to learn how to use my iPhone that I had just gotten in December, and to learn how to use the many photo apps that were out there, and to immerse myself more in Instagram. Well, I did that. I feel like I have pretty much accomplished that goal, or at least enough that I don’t necessarily want it to be the focus of my 365.
I take a lot of photos. I currently have 1576 photos in the folder marked p365 in Lightroom. These are all photos that I may or may not use for a 365 day. Last year, I worked my way through all my black and white options. For the rest of this year, I am going to tackle the 1576 photos (and the many more that I will undoubtedly add) and play with editing styles, composition, and all those other photographic terms.
I love the hazy look of film. This will be my place to play with that. And textures. And creative crops. And anything else I think of.

Since I didn’t have a dog for #unconditional_love I settled for a kitty cat that wouldn’t even look at me.

My mother-in-law died before I met my husband, I feel a #connection when I use her old sewing machine.

It just isn’t my #home unless there is a kitty cat in the yard!
